A new Acting Head has been appointed for the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC).
He is Engr. Anthony Ekedegwa.

His appointment by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation comes after the expiration of the three year tenure of Prof. Yusuf Ahmed.
Until his appointment, Engr. Ekedegwa was Director, Planning, Licensing, Sitting and Design (PLSD) of the Commission.

He is expected to oversee the affairs of the Commission pending the appointment of a substantive Chairman/CEO by the President.
