In continuation to enhance hands-on training to secure radiological Sites in the nuclear industry, the NNRA in collaboration with the United States Department of Energy(USDoE) today, Wednesday 10th September, 2025 visited NTC sheda on familiarization of site in respect of its workshop on Advanced Search and Secure of Radioactive Material Out of Regulatory Control. 

 

The participants were received by the Acting Head of NTC, Eng.TK Mustapha on behalf of the Acting Chairman/ CEO NAEC Eng.Dr.Anthony Ekedegwa and they were presented with the overview of the GIF  areas of application.

 

The objective of the workshop is to strengthen the capacity of Nigerian Frontline officers in detecting, locating and securing radioactive materials to prevent illicit use or trafficking. The exercise ends on September 11th,2025.
