As part of a two-day educational excursion to the Nuclear Technology Center (NTC), postgraduate students specializing in Medical Physics and Radiation from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, visited the Gamma Irradiation Facility.

The tour was designed to provide hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of radiation science and its practical applications. During the visit, the students were guided through key laboratories within the facility, including the microbiology, plastics, physicochemical, and dosimetry units, where they observed various processes and techniques used in radiation-based research and services.
