The Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC), through its ICT unit led by its Head, Mr Innocent Ocheme, has hosted a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness session for junior employees at both Headquarters and the Nuclear Technology Centre (NTC), Sheda.

Designed to strengthen the Commission’s digital defenses, the program translated core security principles into practical, role-specific guidance. Topics included common cyber threats, safe digital hygiene, incident reporting protocols, applicable penalties and an overview of NAEC’s ICT infrastructure.

The initiative reflects NAEC’s proactive commitment to fostering a security-conscious workforce, reinforcing its overarching strategy for institutional resilience and operational safety from top down.
The seminar sessions commenced last Monday at the headquarters and were concluded today at the NTC.
