DG, IAEA visit National Hospital Abuja

The DG,  IAEA on Wednesday ,15th May, 2924 was at the National Hospital, Abuja to access and get updates on the state of equipment at the National Hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The DG who was accompanied by the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa and the Chm/CEO,NAEC, Prof. Yusuf Ahmed, DG Nigeria Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRA), Dr, Usman Salami Aliyu, Dr. Yau Idris, DG, NNRA were received and conducted around the hospital facilities by the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Raji. The DG  IAEA during the inspection of equipment at the Department of Nuclear Medicine made a commitment to replace non-functioning equipment at the hospital as soon as possible.
