NAEC Chairman Receives Letter of Appointment
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission, Engr. Dr. Anthony Ekedegwa, on Friday, 24th July 2026, officially received his letter of appointment as the Substantive Chairman from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The appointment letter was presented to him by the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office (GSO) Dr.Ibrahim Abubakar Kana on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The presentation underscores the Federal Government’s confidence in his capacity to provide visionary leadership and drive the mandate of NAEC in advancing Nigeria’s peaceful nuclear program.
This marks the formal commencement of his tenure to pilot the affairs of the Commission.
