3-Day Workshop/Training on Proposal Writing and Grant Management

The Chairman/CEO of the Commission, Professor Ahmed Yusuf declared open a 3-Day Workshop/Training on Proposal Writing and Grant Management for the staff of the commission’s directorates and research centres. 

Speaking during the opening ceremony at the  Researcher’s Hostel and Conference Center(RHCC), Sheda, the Chairman was represented by Professor Abdullahi Arabi, who doubles as the Convener of the workshop charged participants to take advantage of the workshop to equip themselves on the various ways to successfully get a grant for their academic and research work.In his goodwill message, Professor A.I Rufai, from Bayero University Kano(BUK) also advised participants to be attentive throughout the workshop and tap into the resources that will be made available.

The workshop will cover eleven topics with group exercises on project conceptualization,team work, resource management and leadership in research as well as hands on trading sessions.

 The technical sessions of the training continues at the Multipurpose Laboratory, NTC, Sheda, known as the Glass House to Wednesday 23rd November, 2022.
