On Saturday, 8th April, 2023, the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Mahmud paid familiarization visit to the Centre for Energy Research and Training (CERT), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He was accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, all Principal Officers of the University and Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Director University Advancement, Director of Academic Planning and Monitoring, and Directors of IAR, NAERLS, NAPRI and DAC. The Director, CERT, Prof. S. A. Jonah, received the Honourable Minister and guided him to a tour of NIRR-1. Among other issues, a proposal for National Soil and Geo Chemical Mapping Project was presented to the Honourable Minister by the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of CERT. (Administrative Secretary, CERT)
