NAEC delegation in Sochi for Conference of Russia-Africa Partnership Forum

At the invitation of the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, H. E. Amb. Yusuf M. Tuggar, the Ag. Chairman/CEO of the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission, Engr. Anthony I.G. Ekedegwa was part of Nigeria’s delegation to the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi.
On the sidelines of the Conference, which kicked off on Saturday, 9th November, 2024 in Sochi, at the Russian Federation, the NAEC delegation held extensive discussions with representatives from the TOMSK Polytechnic University, the Russian Federation and the Head of Floating Nuclear Power Plant Project in ROSATOM.
Also in attendance at the talks with the Russian Federation were representatives from Nigerian Embassy in Moscow, Office of the National Security Adviser and the Ministry of Defense.
The two day conference which seeks to strengthen ties with African nations is aimed at intensifying comprehensive cooperation between Russia and Africa nations ranging from political, security, economics, science and technology.
