Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC) and the University of Abuja have signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) between the two institutions. The MOU is aimed at collaboration between the Nuclear Technology Center(NTC), a center under the supervision of NAEC with the University of Abuja for undergraduate and post graduate programmes as well as Fellowship programmes in Nuclear Science and Engineering. The MoU will also grant access to the university of NTC’s laboratories and equipment for research purposes on the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology.
Prof. Yusuf A. Ahmed, Chairman/CEO NAEC and the VC, University of Abuja Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’Allah singed on behalf of the two institutions respectively.
The signing ceremony took place in the VC’s Conference Room at the University’s Permanent site in Abuja on Tuesday, 5th April 2022.
