Nigeria holds talks Nuclear Energy with China

On Tuesday 3rd September, 2024 Nigeria held talks with the People’s Republic of China on the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Present at the talks were the Minister of Finance, Adebayo Olawole Edun, Engr. David Umahi, Honourable Minister of Works and Chm/CEO, NAEC, Prof. Yusuf A. Ahmed. Talks included;

1. Basic research in the field of peaceful nuclear energy
2. Design, construction, operation, upgrade, maintenance and decommissioning of nuclear power plant
3. Training of human resources.
