Nuclear Energy Experts Meet in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.

The Nuclear Energy Agency(NEA), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the African Commission on Nuclear Energy(AFCONE) held a special high- level meeting on the margins of the 37th ordinary session of the African Union(AU) Summit.

The event, Advancing Sustainable Economic Development: Building Capacity in Nuclear Energy – related Skills,Business and Policy took place on Friday,16th February,2024 in Addis Ababa,Ethiopa. Discussions at the event focused on building capacity in Africa in fields related to nuclear science, research and education to support African countries’ industrial and economic goals as well as identify key challenges for collaboration in support of long- term , sustainable development,trade,tourism, industry and Minerals of the African Union Commission.
